I figure I should be sharing some foodie-like events… Lots happening here in Charm City.
August 1 – 10, 2014: Baltimore Restaurant Week – there are a ton of great choices, many of which I have reviewed or gave a snippet to here. I definitely recommend open tabling if the restaurant accepts rezzi’s. I think I am going for The Prime Rib.
August 3, 2014: Nickel Taphouse‘s 5 course BEER DINNER with YARDS BREWING COMPANY on AUGUST 3rd for $50. Call for reservations.
August 11 & 12, 2014: Mason Dixon Master Chef SemiFinals, showcasing some of the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan and surrounding area’s finest executive chefs and restaurants. Guests attending this exciting event will be more than just spectators, as they enjoy the unique experience of witnessing two spectacular area chefs battle it out in the prep kitchen right on the main floor.
August 16, 2014: Summer BBQ Beer and Cocktail Throwdown – 1706 N. Charles Street lot (across from Charles Theater) – Free entry, free cocktail tastes to judge best drink, cash for all other items.
August 18 & 19, 2014: Lebanese Taverna is turning 35 and “Rolling Back the Prices” in celebration– enjoy specially priced menu items.
August 21, 2014: Instafact at Artifact coffee – “Drink and chat with local bloggers.”
August 21, 2014: Meet your Maker (Yelp event) taking place at Mouth Party Caramels (with a portion of their profits going to the fight against cancer). A Happy Hour-type event, with complimentary samples of their crazy-delicious caramels paired with another locally-made gem: Basignani Wines.
August 21, 2014: 2nd Annual Lovin’ Summer Soirée – Enjoy the season’s last days with a Caribbean-inspired party with live music, food, cocktails and friends! 6 to 9pm, 1840’s Cabaret & Courtyard
August 24, 2014: Mason Dixon Master Chef Finals, find out who is THE Mason Dixon Master Chef, the only one of the 16 competing chefs.
August 24, 2014: Cunningham’s Frog’s Leap Wine Dinner – first Cunningham’s Seasonal Wine Dinner, featuring the award-winning Napa Valley wines of Frog’s Leap Vineyard! Chef Thomas Herrmann will be pairing four courses of Summer-inspired, contemporary American cuisine with a selection from the Frog’s Leap Winery portfolio. Each seat about 100 with tax and tip.
